TOKYU STAY SHINJUKU EASTSIDE

Clean, easy to get to and get in and out, directions included to operate ac and in-room laundry which came in clutch.

It was clean and was able to do laundry in the room

Comfortably sized room for Shinjuku, a 10 minute walk to the busy/touristy shopping and bar area. On 2 metro lines making it easy to get around Tokyo and avoid some of the chaos of Shinjuku station. In unit combo washer/dryer very nice for those on longer trips wanting to do laundry to save on bringing more clothes.

Everything was great, maybe slightly more comfortable beds.

Really enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly comfortable. The location is quiet at night. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend it for a convenient and comfortable stay in Tokyo.

Location is a bit far from train stations but there is a bus stop close by. Should have done a bit more research on it but it wasn't all that bad, just a minor annoyance. But there was a good sushi spot around the corner

Location was easy access to other areas in Tokyo and nearby subway stations. Staff was very friendly. Hotel itself was clean, modern and updated. Multiple amenities like laundry unit in the room, free toothbrushes, free umbrellas, etc.

Our room continued to have a musty smell throughout our stay. Thankfully the room had a room spray we used every time we entered but it’s clear the room had some lingering water damage in the rugsBeds were not as comfortable as one would expect in a hotel Room / cleaning services are not available if you are there less than 7 nights. You must request any towel change and trash removal. Would have been nice for the room to have been cleaned and beds made for us

Room size was great and the hotel was fairly modern design. Room included washer/dryer system, nice size bathroom and a kitchenette.

The room had a smell of mildew in the bathroom.

Early checked out at 6 in morning before heading out to airport but no access to coffee machine because it was not ready for service according to breakfast staff

Good convenient location near popular areas in Shinjuku such as major shopping stores. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops near by as well. Still about a 10-13mins walk to Shinjuku station but close to a smaller station going for Oedo line. Overall very easily to walk around. Love that there is room option that comes with a washer/dryer, makes our lives much easier. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Nice lobby area with lots of tables to sit and hang out. They also have hair styling devices to rent out as well!

Room cleaning service including bed sheet re-arrangement and trash clean up is only available for7+ night stay. Wish that this is a bit more often. They have option to change out towel which is nice though.

The location was very convenient to major shopping areas. Though generally the apartments were in good and clean condition, however comparing our last stay in April and our recent stay in December we realised the cleanliness of the hotel standard has dropped. The little nook and crannies in the lobby and also in the guest lifts were not well polished and maintained as there were quite a bit of dirt marks and also scratches on the stainless steel panels. The rooms were quite dusty too, especially the washroom and areas near the washing machine and also the cabinets. The shower cubicle though clean also looked run down compared down as compared to our last stay in April, as the shower head and walls also had watermarks on them which showed that they were not entirely cleaned properly (we understand that a big cleaning cannot be done after every guest checks out, but this is just a comment to help ensure that this wonderful place is maintained well that the place wont be further run down if left unchecked). Generally, we enjoyed our stay, the place is well equipped with all that we required for a short stay, and the location is great! Despite the comments of the rooms and general zones being slightly run down, this is somewhere where we would consider coming back to again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Shinjuku, with so many amenities within a 5 to 10 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, Don Quijote, and great transport links nearby, which made getting around Tokyo very easy. The room itself was very clean and well maintained, and the beds were super comfy, which made a huge difference after long days of exploring. Overall, this is a great option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, just be mindful of luggage space if you’re travelling with multiple large suitcases.

One thing to keep in mind is that the room is quite small. We had four suitcases, so space was a bit tight and it was slightly difficult to pack and move around comfortably. That said, this is fairly typical for Tokyo and didn’t take away too much from our overall experience.

Nice staff, spacious room, good hotel amenities. The hotel is adjacent to the Higashi Shinjuku station.The hotel fairly close to main attractions in the Shinjuku area.

Breakfast was lacking variety.

Quiet location. Helpful staff. The room was quite spacious- especially for Japan.

Washing machine worked ok. The dryer did not work.The breakfast was disappointing.

Staff members are cheerful and professional. Plenty transportation mode closed by. Room is of good size and very quiet at night. Water temperature and pressure are nice.

The plates were greasy and it’s obvious that the cleaning crew hasn’t inspect it, don’t know for how long. If not for this unpleasant issue, I could have given this hotel a perfect score.

I loved the comfort and cleanliness of the room, it was the perfect space for me to relax after big days and I felt right at home. So beautiful! There was a vending machine and items to use like razors, toothbrush, tea etc. in the lobby if you needed as well as umbrellas. All super easy access! Would love to stay here again. The bus is also right outside and so are other modes of transport e.g. airport bus.

The area for me was not my favourite, Shinjuku has an incredible and active night life which was beautiful with the lights and fun. But in the morning it could be a little dirty and people are still coming out of the clubs not looking well. My first morning walking around at 7/8am was a bit of a shock. Beyond this, everything was perfect.

easy to access location, situated perfectly in shinjuku - an easy walk to the fun downtown, but not so close that you can't escape the noise and hustle when you want to. it felt very safe; entering and exiting the property late at night, how and where our luggage was stored before our room was the ready, and the way the elevator access works. the building itself and rooms are aesthetically pleasing and clean. the staff was absolutely wonderful, very accommodating and polite.

i liked everything, i would recommend this location to anyone.

Very convenient. Quiet and safe Main Street. Around the back it’s already the restaurant and night district. 15Mins walk to subway and main shopping area. Extremely comfortable rooms and bathroom, shower. Kitchenette washer/dryer makes it very convenient. Relatively big room for Tokyo !

Rooms were relatively large compared to normal Japanese hotels and even had an in-suite washer/dryer, which was super convenient! The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for exploring Shinjuku and the surrounding area.

The breakfast area doubles as a lounge during the day, and although convenient, the space isn’t terribly cozy. There isn’t really any additional space to relax outside of the room, if that’s something you’re looking for.

Clean. Conveniently located next to a train station just about 6 minutes away. Lots of amenities and it was the best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Japan. You guys are great!
